Who We Are

The Zaharia Organization offers cargo and personnel

transportation, and trade services.

The Zaharia Name

The Zaharia Organization was founded in 2867 by RTemples grandfather, Pyrial Zaharia. Pyrial began his transport of goods as a freelance hauler for hire. His own parents had pushed Pyrial into politics at a young age, but after following his own path toward the SynthWorld project and assisting with its development for a number of years, Pyrial had enough funds to eventually purchase his first ship to begin hauling cargo.

75 years later RTemple and his wife Emberlure are still running the family business, a small but determined business. The intent was to provide a small to medium transport service, that catered to its clientel.

The Zaharia family prides itself on courage in the face of adversity, ethical decisions within business, and family over all.

Pyrial Zaharia grew up as a farmers son in Kansas. In his teens Pyrial got caught up with the wrong crowd and became involved in illegal gambling. This led him into smuggling. The dangers that smuggling included caught up wth Pyrial and eventually decided to try and go legit. He purchased a Freelancer and began transporting cargo for businesses. Once in awhile his past would catch up with him and he would sometimes make shadey smuggling deals. At the age of 72 Pyrial was killed when his starcraft was destroyed by UEE patrol.

Atreus Zaharia worked under his father Pyrial for most of his life. He did not know a life beyond transport, and had a very colorful history traversing the systems.

At times Atreus would be at odds with his father, who was much more liberal with the cargo being transported. Sometimes Pyrial would smuggle items for friends and associates, but Atreus would often be the guiding voice for Pyrials decision making.

During a run to an old associate of his fathers, Atreus dispeared.

R. Temple Zaharia served in the UEE as a commander, operating in an official capacity to upholding the Fair Chance Act. When he retired at the young age of 27, Temple joined up with his father, Atreus, in running the family business. A year later he would meet his wife Emberlure. Not long after, Atreus disappeared and R.Temple was forced to head up the Zaharia Organization. Rumors of raider hostages among the stars would encourage hope that Atreus might still be alive.

Emberlure Zaharia spent much of her time serving aboard special envoys pursuing diplomatic and peaceful relations with the Xi'Ans for much of her teenage years. Drawn to politics she found a very comfortable living speaking to enclaves of UEE and Xi'An delegates.

After a brush with disaster following a Vanduul raid on one of her peacekeeping missions, Emberlure decided to pursue a more clerical role out of the elements of danger.

She met R.Temple after a number of years and they fell in love. Leaving the diplomatic relations industry, she now assists in piloting the families ships and still providing a peacekeeping role in the families business.

Family friend and battle hardened soldier for the UEE alongside R. Temple, Bunker became a reliable pilot. After his own time flying escort missions and special operations, Bunker decided to leave the UEE for personal reasons.

The Zaharia Organization recruited Bunker into its family and he has been flying with them ever since. His quick shot and efficient use of ordnance has earned him a rightful place in the remarkable history of the ZO.
